Badminton court hire

We have sixteen badminton courts available for casual hire across Concord Oval Recreation Centre and Five Dock Leisure Centre, with eight courts at each location. Bookings are by the hour and can be made up to four weeks in advance: 

  • $33 per hour during peak periods (Monday–Friday from 4–10pm, Saturdays, and Sundays)
  • $25 per hour during off-peak periods (Monday–Friday from 6am–4pm)

Please note payment is required at the time of booking (no cash payments) and our Centres have a 48-hour cancellation/booking change policy.

Check out the below tips before your booking

  • Bring along your own badminton racquets and shuttlecocks
  • Equipment is available for purchase at our front desk — hire equipment is currently unavailable
  • Remember a drink bottle (no glass bottles allowed) and towel 
  • Please stop play 2–3 minutes before your booking ends to make room for the next group.

Court layout

Concord Oval Recreation Centre has eight badminton courts for casual hire. Our badminton courts are located on Full Courts 3 and 4 (furthest away from the entry). Full Courts 3 and 4 are further segmented into quarter badminton courts 9–16.
