Junior Gym is a structured class that is a progression from Mini Gym and is suited for children from 4 to 5 years of age. Using music and gymnastic equipment, the children learn to interact with others socially and develop their skills and physical strengths. This class is 45 minutes in length.
Foundations is a skill and development level-based program. It is designed to help develop children physically and mentally as they learn the fundamentals of gymnastics movement, co-ordination, strength, balance, and gross motor skills. Each level has set criteria/skills to be obtained before progressing to the next level. Classes range from 60 to 90 minutes in length, with options to increase frequency of classes for skill progression.
This class is for gymnasts who have achieved level 2 skills and working towards level 3 skills. Training is increased to 2 x 90 minute sessions per week, and gymnasts may either progress to a selective competitive squad or transition to other recreational programs.
